Atherington
Fri 12th - Wed 24th  Christmas Tree Festival, 10.00am - 6.00pm
22 Christmas trees decorated by the community. Funds raised supporting North Devon Hospice and Air Ambulance
Saturday 13th          Carols, 4 - 6pm
Mulled wine and mince pies
Saturday 20th          Christmas Craft Fair, 10.00am - 6.00pm
A chance to buy those last minute gifts with Two Rivers Mission Community Choir singing carols 2-3pm

Saturday 21st           Barn Nativity Service, 4.00pm at Lilcott Farm
The retelling of the Christmas story with live animals. Come warmly dressed!
Christmas Eve         Christingle, 4.00pm 
A family friendly candlelight service amongst the Christmas trees

Alverdiscott
Wednesday 17th      Carol Service, 7pm
Christmas Day         Holy Communion, 9.30am

A traditional said communion service using the Book of Common Prayer

Beaford
Sunday 7th          Christmas tree family service, 11.00am
A fun "cafe church" style service (with coffee and pastries). Make Christmas tree decoarations, hear the story of the three trees, add names to our Christmas tree of remembrance. 

Monday 22nd       Carols by Candlelight, 5.00pm
Carols and readings set in the beauty of the church lit entirely by candles
Christmas Day     Family Service with communion, 9.30am 
An informal celebration of Christmas for all ages with a short communion

High Bickington
Sunday 7th          Cafe Church Christingle 10.30am in the Community Hall
A candlelight service with continental breakfast
Friday 19th            Nine Lessons and Carols, 7.00pm
A traditional carol service with your favourite carols led by the Two Rivers Mission Community Choir
Christmas Eve     Midnight Communion, 11.30pm
Traditional Holy Communion service on this most holy night
Christmas Day     Family Service, 10.30am in the Methodist Chapel
Fun Christmas worship to celebrate Jesus' birth

Horwood
Thursday 18th     Carol Service, 7.30pm
Traditional service of lessons and carols followed by refreshments
Christmas Day    Family service with communion by extension, 9.30am
A relaxed family service followed by Communion by extension while children partake in an outdoor activity

Sunday 14th        Carol service, 11.00am
Our Christmas service for the whole community, with carols, readings and prayers

Sunday 21st        Community Carols in the village hall car park, 5.00pm

Newton Tracey
Saturday 29th November    Advent workshop, 9.45am – 11.15am in the Hunters Inn
Craft and fun for children accompanied by an adult
Sunday 7th         Christingle, 9.30am
A service for the children
Christmas Eve    Carols, 4.00pm in the Hunters' Inn car park
Children are invited to dress up as a Nativity character or animal and take part in the Nativity scene. Refreshments will be served

Roborough
Sunday 14th        Christmas Activity Afternoon, 3:30pm
Craft from 3.30 - 4.30pm, followed by tea and then a pop up nativity. All ages welcome
Tuesday 16th      Nine Lessons and Carols, 7.00pm
A traditional carol service with the Two Rivers Mission Community choir
Christmas Eve    Holy Communion, 9.00pm
A traditional 'first communion' of Christmas with carols... but earlier in the evening so you aren't home too late!

Saturday 6th       Blue Christmas 4.00pm
Sunday 22nd      Carol Service, 6.30pm
Christmas Eve    First communion of Christmas, 7.00pm

Tawstock
Sunday 7th          Christmas tree family service, 11.00am

Saturday 13th      Outdoor carols and nativity in the church car park, 4.00pm

An outdoor carol service in our very own stable with live animals. Hot dogs and mulled wine from 4.00pm. carols at 4.30pm. Children (and adults) are invited to dress up as someone from the nativity story.
Sunday 21st        Traditional carol service, 6.30pm
Our traditional service of nine lessons and carols, followed by mince pies, tea and coffee

Christmas Eve     "Midnight" Mass, 10.00pm
A traditional communion service to see in Christmas day... but not too late...
Christmas Day     Family service, 11.00am
A relaxed all-age service to celebrate Jesus' birth


Yarnscombe
Sunday 7th           Café Christingle, 10.00am in the village hall
A relaxed cafe style service, with coffee and cake... and of course a Christingle each to light and take home
Sunday 14th         Carol Service 6.30pm

A service of carols and the Christmas readings, followed by mulled wine and mince pies
Sunday 21st         Holy Communion 10.00am

A quiet reflective Christmas service, for those who need some time to be reflect amidst all the business of the season, especially those missing a loved one
